Resuming at 221-7, Australia added only 22 more runs as Alex Carey (30) and Pat Cummins (30) fell early. Shamar Joseph led the West Indies bowling with 4-66, while Australia were bowled out for 243.


In reply, West Indies lost early wickets and stumbled to 33-4 by lunch. Only skipper Roston Chase offered resistance with 34 off 41 before falling to Starc. Shamar Joseph entertained briefly with a 23-ball 24, but the rest folded quickly.
