Veteran batter Mushfiqur Rahim remained solid at one end and found an able partner in Litton Das.
The pair added 74 runs in an unbroken stand, with Mushfiqur on 141* and Litton on 43* at the break. Sri Lanka had their chances but failed to capitalize—dropping both Mushfiqur and Litton, and missing a run-out opportunity.
Amid the dominance, Mushfiqur etched his name into the record books.
