BCB announces Bangladesh U-19 squad for Sri Lanka ODI series

As the senior national team focuses on the Zimbabwe series and others play in the Dhaka Premier League, the Bangladesh U-19 team is gearing up for international action with a six-match youth ODI series in Sri Lanka later this month.

The squad, led by Azizul Hakim Tamim, will depart for Sri Lanka on April 21. The series begins with a warm-up match on April 24, followed by ODIs on April 26, 28, 30, and May 3, 5, and 8 — all to be played in Hambantota.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named a 15-member squad, with five additional players on standby. This tour serves as key preparation for the 2026 ICC U-19 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
