Tiger flies to Pakistan with Corona-virus scare

Bangladesh national cricket team left Dhaka on Tuesday to take part in the two-match Test series opener against Pakistan, scheduled at Rawalpindi from February 7.
Bangladesh is travelling to Pakistan to play a Test match after a gap of 17 years and will be looking forward to make it memorable by putting some noteworthy performance and get back to business in the longer format considering they had a lean patch in the longer format.
Players and officials were seen wearing mask while entering the Airport and it did not take long to understand that they are also gripped over the Corona-virus phobia.

‘’We are using the mask for the Corona virus because it is always better to take precaution in this kind of situation,’’ selector Habibul Bashar told Daily Sun on Tuesday from the Airport.
For the one-off Test match against Pakistan, Bangladesh national team squad will travel to Rawalpindi breaking down their voyage in two divisions of flights which could force the squad to spend ten to twelve hours on the board.
A big portion of the national team squad were scheduled to depart with the flight of Qatar Airways at 6.50 pm (BST) from Dhaka on Tuesday.
Though due to lack of availability of tickets, the team management of BCB along with selector Habibul Bashar Sumon, had to travel one hour before the 6.50 flight that carried the national team players.
Before departing for Doha (capital city of Qatar) on Tuesday, national team selector Sumon said that the whole team would not be able to travel all along due to the shortage of tickets from Dhaka to Doha which forced them to board at 5.50 pm (BST).
But the team will be able to travel all together after completing two hours of transition period in Doha, the team will depart together from the capital of Qatar for Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. And after reaching Islamabad, the team will reach the Test destination, Rawalpindi, after another a couple of hours journey, which will see the Tigers team spending ten to twelve hours in their journey to the Test venue.
After reaching Rawalpindi, the team will have their first session of practice in the evening on the same day (Wednesday) after a couple of hours break in the middle. The national team will have their full training session on Thursday before staring their first Test of the series on Friday (February 07).
