As anticipation builds for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, set to begin on 26 March, two major franchises have made high-profile direct signings to strengthen their squads.

Karachi Kings have secured former England all-rounder Moeen Ali for PKR 6.44 crore, bringing his explosive batting and handy off-spin to the 2020 champions.

The franchise announced the signing on their official social media accounts, describing Moeen as “England’s explosive force” ready to bolster the #KingsSquad.

Meanwhile, Islamabad United have signed New Zealand top-order batter Devon Conway for a reported PKR 63 million.

Conway, the fourth fastest player to reach 1,000 T20I runs, will bring experience and firepower to the United lineup.

Islamabad United shared the news on social media, welcoming Conway to the #ISLUFamily and highlighting his potential to “light up #HBLPSL11.”

Yesterday, Sialkot Stallionz signed Australia’s Steve Smith as their marquee direct overseas player ahead of their inaugural PSL season.
