Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted clearance for Pakistani cricketers to participate in the 12th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). On Wednesday, 10 players received their NOC, allowing them to feature in the tournament until 23 January, as per PCB’s conditions.

They will be allowed to play in the Bangladeshi franchise league until January 23, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter Haider Ali had previously been accused in a rape case.

After the allegation surfaced, the PCB immediately suspended him. That suspension has now been lifted by the board, clearing his path to participate in the BPL without any restrictions.

Haider Ali had faced the accusation last September. However, Greater Manchester Police closed the case on September 25 due to insufficient evidence, effectively nullifying the allegations.

With the case dismissed, the Pakistani cricketer now has the opportunity to return to the field. Haider will play for Noakhali Express in this year’s BPL. The new franchise secured him from the auction for USD 25,000.

Additionally, several other Pakistani players are set to feature in the BPL, including Mohammad Nawaz, Abrar Ahmed, Sahibzada Farhan, Faheem Ashraf, Hussain Talat, Khwaja Nafay and Mohammad Ihsanullah.
