Ahead of the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the Rajshahi Warriors have signed Hussain Talat, the franchise confirmed in an official statement. The Pakistani all-rounder is no stranger to the tournament, having featured in previous editions.

Talat last played in the BPL for Chittagong Kings, where he scored 42 runs in three matches, 40 of those coming in a single innings. He also picked up one wicket during the season.

Rajshahi have built a well-structured squad both before and during the players’ auction. Prior to the auction, the franchise secured Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mohammad Nawaz, and Sahibzada Farhan.

During the auction, they added several more names including Jishan Alam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Akbar Ali, Ripon Mondol, Hasan Murad, Abdul Gaffar Saqlain, SM Meherab, Robiul Haque, Wasi Siddiqui, and Mushfiqur Rahim.

Among foreign signings, the franchise, coached by Hannan Sarkar, picked Dushan Hemantha and Jahandad Khan.

Hannan has hinted that the team may still have more surprises in store for fans.
