Alongside the left-arm pacer, Rangpur has also secured Nurul Hasan Sohan in the team through a direct contract before the auction.
The franchise confirmed the news through a Facebook post.
Earlier reports suggest, Rangpur has already added several foreign players to their squad, including Pakistan’s Khushdil Shah, Faheem Ashraf, and Aqib Javed.
In addition, England’s star cricketer Dawid Malan is also set to join the team.
Rangpur are also set to bring former Fortune Barishal player Kyle Mayers to their camp.
Yesterday, BPL Governing Council of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced a revised date for the BPL Players’ Auction 2026.
Originally, the auction was scheduled to be held on the 17th of this month. It was then postponed to 21 November. After that, a new date of 23 November (Sunday) was set.
But the event will now be held on Sunday, 30 November 2025, starting from 3pm at the Grand Ballroom of Radisson Blu Dhaka.
