Dhaka Capitals’ ownership was acquired by Remark Harlan in the previous BPL season, with Shakib Khan being the center of attention. As part of the franchise, Shakib attended matches and watched the draft live.
The owners have retained their franchise for the next five seasons under the ownership of Champion Sports.
Even though the new teams have changed names, Dhaka Capitals will continue playing under the same name. Since acquiring the franchise, they have been busy assembling their squad.
