The new franchise Head Coach Hannan Sarkar officially announced the deal on Sunday.
Later, Hannan also confirmed that Bangaldesh Test captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto will feature for Rajshahi.
They are currently in advanced discussions with Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan, while talks are also ongoing with a Sri Lankan player.
With the BPL players’ draft likely to take place on November 17, the new franchise is working to finalize their squad early.
Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to feature a new franchise this season, Rajshahi Warriors. Even before the players’ auction, the team created a major buzz by signing Bangladesh Test captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto and limited-overs opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim. Later, they added Tanzim Hasan Sakib from the auction.
Ahead of the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the Rajshahi Warriors have signed Hussain Talat, the franchise confirmed in an official statement. The Pakistani all-rounder is no stranger to the tournament, having featured in previous editions.
