Scheduled for mid-December, the BCCI is considering moving the event abroad due to India’s busy wedding and festival season, despite its initial preference to host it domestically.
The previous two auctions were held in Dubai (2024) and Jeddah (2025).
The board plans to announce the final dates and venue by November 15, also the deadline for teams to submit their player retention lists.
