Adding to the buzz, Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has officially joined Antigua and Barbuda Falcons for this year’s edition. Speaking after his arrival, Shakib expressed his excitement:
“It feels good to be back here in the West Indies. I’m thrilled to join Antigua — they have trusted me, and I’m looking forward to playing in the CPL again. We have a good mix of youth and experience, and with names like Paul Nixon and Sir Curtly Ambrose around, the dressing room environment will be special.”
Shakib, who has previously represented multiple CPL franchises, hopes to make his third season in the tournament a memorable one by contributing with both bat and ball.

“I hope this year I can contribute with both bat and ball for Antigua.”
