Rishad Hossain picked by Hobart Hurricanes for the second time

Bangladeshi leg-spinner Rishad Hossain has been picked by Hobart Hurricanes for the upcoming season of the Big Bash League (BBL).

Although Rishad was selected by the same franchise last season, he couldn’t make his debut due to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) not issuing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) amid a schedule clash with the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

So far, Shakib Al Hasan is the only Bangladeshi cricketer to have played in the BBL. Rishad was close to becoming the second, but the missed opportunity left him sidelined as Hobart Hurricanes went on to lift their maiden BBL title.
While his teammates celebrated the championship, Rishad remained in Bangladesh with the frustration of not being able to participate.

Now, the leg-spinner has another shot at showcasing his skills on the Australian T20 stage.
