The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 is set to resume on May 17, with the final slated for May 25, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed on Tuesday.

The tournament had been suspended following heightened tensions with India and the crash of an Indian drone near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Initially relocated to the UAE, the PSL was later postponed due to security concerns. However, with the situation easing and a ceasefire agreement in place, plans are now in motion to complete the remaining eight matches of the season.

In a post on X today, Naqvi stated that the league will pick up from where it left. "Let the aura take over as we unite and celebrate the spirit of cricket," he wrote.
