Earlier in the evening, Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss and opted to field. The RCB batting lineup responded with a solid performance, led by half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal, taking the hosts to a competitive 205 for 5.
