Batting first, Lahore posted a massive 219 for 6. In reply, Quetta’s batting lineup crumbled under pressure, losing wickets from the very start. Within just 9 runs, Quetta lost three wickets — opener Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen were dismissed by Shaheen Afridi, while Asif Afridi removed Hassan Nawaz.

19 hrs agoIn an attempt to accelerate the innings, Kusal Mendis also fell early, dismissed by Haris Rauf. In the seventh over, Lahore captain Shaheen Afridi handed the ball to debutant Rishad. The young Bangladeshi spinner bowled economically, conceding only 6 runs in his first over.
Rishad struck in his second over, bowling South African batter Rilee Rossouw. Although Rossouw hit a six off Rishad earlier in the over, the Bangladeshi spinner had the last laugh, clean-bowling him on the very next delivery.
Returning for his third over, Rishad was slightly expensive, giving away 9 runs including a six. However, he made a strong comeback in his final over, picking up two quick wickets. He bowled Mohammad Amir with the very first ball of his fourth over and then dismissed Abrar Ahmed, who gave a catch to Mohammad Naeem at mid-wicket.

Quetta's innings soon collapsed, ending at 140 runs, handing Lahore a comprehensive 79-run victory.
