Cricketers like Ryan Burl and Mohammad Haris were stranded in their hotel rooms, unable to return to their home countries due to the lack of flight tickets, despite their outstanding dues.
However, relief is finally in sight for the stranded players. Rajshahi has confirmed that flight tickets have been arranged for both Burl and Haris.
In an official statement, the franchise announced that Burl will depart Dhaka for Harare at 3 AM on an Ethiopian Airlines flight, while Haris will leave for Lahore at 1:40 AM on a Thai Airways flight.
Meanwhile, the team’s Pakistani head coach Ijaz Ahmed is scheduled to leave Dhaka on February 3, and West Indies pacer Miguel Cummins will depart on February 5.
Despite the off-field controversies, Rajshahi had a chance to qualify for the playoffs but ultimately fell short. Their elimination paved the way for Khulna Tigers to secure a spot in the qualifiers.
