According to the Khulna Tigers management, Alex Ross, a 32-year-old Australian batter, has joined the team. Ross has played 136 T20 matches, scoring runs at an average of nearly 29 with a strike rate of 129.
He has previously played for Durdanto Dhaka and has experience in leagues like the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and the Big Bash League (BBL).
Aamer Jamal, a 28-year-old Pakistani pace all-rounder, has also signed with Khulna. Known for his bowling skills and ability to contribute with the bat, Jamal has represented Pakistan in 8 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 6 T20Is.
He was unavailable earlier in the tournament due to Pakistan's series in South Africa but is set to join the BPL in its final stages.
It is yet to be confirmed when the two players will join Khulna's camp. Currently, the Chattogram phase of the BPL is underway, with the Dhaka phase scheduled to begin on January 26.
Khulna Tigers, fighting for a spot in the playoffs, are likely preparing for the crucial final phase with these additions.
