Rabada back in IPL after serving drug ban
1 hrs agoEight groundsmen members at the Wankhede Stadium have tested COVID-19 positive during the tests conducted ahead of the Indian Premier League’s IPL 2021 edition. Mumbai is scheduled to host 10 matches from April 10 to April 25.

Over the last week, 19 groundsmen at Wankhede Stadium underwent RT-PCR tests. Although three individuals were reported to have contracted the virus on the March 26 tests, five further test results returned positive on Friday.
The first game in Mumbai is on Saturday, April 10 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and last season’s runners-up, Delhi Capitals (DC).
The matches in Mumbai would take place behind closed doors after the COVID-19 rise in Maharashtra. The state government has been imposing restrictions to handle the situation. Chennai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bengaluru are the other five venues in the tournament.
