The 2024–25 edition of the National Cricket League (NCL) T20 kicked off on Sunday (14 September). On the opening day, the clash between Dhaka Metro and Rajshahi Division was affected by rain, reducing the game to five overs. Dhaka Metro made a strong start, defeating Rajshahi by seven wickets.

It has now been confirmed that two NCL T20 matches have been shifted to different venues. The fixture between Sylhet Division and Rangpur Division, scheduled for 14 September in Bogura, faced uncertainty due to continuous rain. The match was supposed to begin at 1:30 PM Bangladesh time but is now highly likely to be abandoned.

Meanwhile, the 15 September game between Dhaka Division and Barishal Division has been relocated to Rajshahi. Additionally, the 16 September match between Dhaka Division and Rangpur Division, originally set for Bogura, has also been moved to Rajshahi.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will decide on the remaining fixtures in Bogura depending on the weather situation.

BCB Tournament Committee Chairman Akram Khan told Cricfrenzy: “The 14 September match in Bogura has been moved to Rajshahi. The matches on 15 and 16, which were also scheduled in Bogura, will now take place here as well. This decision was made due to the persistent rain.”
