Speaking about the controversy after the match, Hridoy hinted at more revelations, stating, "If things escalate, I will speak out, In Sha Allah."
When asked for clarification, Hridoy said, “I can’t explain everything, but in the heat of the moment, a lot can happen. Umpires can make mistakes—they’re human, just like us. But when a mistake is made, it should be acknowledged. If I make a mistake, I will admit it. But if you refuse to acknowledge it and claim it wasn’t a mistake, that’s not acceptable. We respect international umpires, but we are international players too. In matches like these, one or two decisions can make a huge difference.”
