Former Bangladesh all-rounder Nasir Hossain and Sohag Gazi failed in the fitness Test, said BCB officials on Tuesday.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board decided that players selected in the draft list for the upcoming T20 tournament in November-December will have to undergo mandatory fitness test before being considered eligible for the competition.

The two-day fitness test that had been planned to particularly assess the fitness levels of cricketers outside the National Team, High Performance Team and Under 19 set ups ended at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday
‘’I don’t think he (Nasir Hossain) can play in the tournament as he got 8(8.5) points. The same goes with Sohag Gazi as he picked 9 points (9.4),’’ Minhajul told reporters at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.
‘’There will be no further fitness test for them. They should have taken lesson from Shahriar Nafees and Abdur Razzak as both worked hard to gain fitness,’’ he said.
Apart from Nasir and Sohag Gazi, the only other cricketer to fail in the fitness test is Subhasish Roy as he managed 9.8 points in the test.
