Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan said on Tiesday that that though they are trying to start a domestic T20 tournament that only problem will be restarting Dhaka Premier League,

 DPL got postponed after the opening game in March 16 and BCB  insist that they have plan to resume domestic cricket through a T20 tournament.  

‘’Problem could to resume the league [Dhaka Premier League] although we are also willing to resume that but we wanted to know two things from the clubs. Is the club interested to play or not as the clubs who will have to managed their players and club and if the clubs are not interested or unable to do that then we wanted to know what should be the second formula,’’ said Nazmul.

‘’The second thing is even if the players are under our responsibility or under the clubs what are the measures, they can take to make sure the health safety of the cricketers whether the players will go to their home or stay with the club. If the clubs can give me the security plan then I have no objection to resume the league. They are yet to inform me over that issue and there is no decision made in this regard,’’ he said.

‘’We want to return cricket back to secured position and we are observing these tournaments as a test case basis. I couldn’t go to the ground today and I wanted to meet the players but I was told that I am not able to go inside the bio-secure bubble, and I was happy to hear that. We are actually trying to adapt these things and if we can implement such things among our players which will give them courage which will increase our chances to host foreign teams in future,’’ he said.
