Dhaka Platoon wicket keeper batsman Anamul Haque believes that their two experienced campaigner- Masharafee bin Murtaza and Tamim Iqbal- is totally ok despite not playing cricket for a while.

Mashrafee bin Murtaza is out of cricket since the last World Cup while Tamim Iqbal ruled himself out from the India series to be with his family while he was also not available in the Afghanistan series as well.

Both the cricketers did not have a good World Cup but according to Anamul the duo looks all set to fire in the upcoming Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League.

Dhaka Platoon will start their campaign against Rajshahi Royals at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on November 12.

‘’Mashrafe bhai is able to deliver every ball in the right area. That’s really exciting. After watching Tamim, it also seemed like he is in the run. I think both of them are in good condition and contribute for the team,’’ Anamul told reporters at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday.

‘’It is very necessary to have experienced players. We also have some senior foreign players. It is very necessary for every team to have some senior players. To have such players, it boosts the team. It is lucky to play for this team. I hope I will have a great experience I hope,’’ he said.

Anamul said that he is confident that his team will go far in the tournament considering they have a good bonding between them.

‘’Actually, we have played together for many years now. The last team I played, we have many players in this team from that squad, both local and overseas. That’s why our bonding is so good. And we have the same coach of last year,’’ said Anamul.

‘’I think our bonding so good. We are trying to play our game. We enjoying among ourselves. Trying to input from our side. So I think this is an advantage, so we think less about other things,’’ said Anamul.
