All-rounder Rumana Ahmed returns as Bangladesh announced a 15-member women’s squad for the upcoming World Twenty20.
Rumana was suffering from a knee injury that had seen her been sidelined in the recent international fixtures but now had recovered sufficiently in the recent past to make her available for the national duty.
Rumana was included in the squad at the expense of Lata Mondal.
Bangladesh squad: Salma Khatun (captain), Rumana Ahmed (vice-captain), Jahanara Alam, Shamima Sultana, Murshida Khatun Happy, Ayesha Rahman, Nigar Sultana Joty, Sanjida Islam, Khadija-Tul-Kubra, Panna Ghosh, Farjana Haque Pinki, Nahida Akhter, Fahima Khatun, Ritu Moni and Sobhana Mostary.
