The Bangladesh youngsters, including Azizul Haque Tamim and Jawad Abrar, recently completed a training camp in Rajshahi after skipping the NCL T20s to prepare for the upcoming assignments.
Afghanistan U-19 are scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on October 25, heading straight to Rajshahi. Following two practice days, the series will begin on October 28.
The first two matches will be held in Bogura’s Shaheed Chandu Stadium on October 28 and 31, while the remaining three matches will take place at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium on November 3, 6, and 9. The visitors will depart on November 10.
After the Afghanistan series, Bangladesh U-19 will participate in the Asia Cup in Nepal this December, followed by the ICC U-19 World Cup in January 2026 in Zimbabwe and Namibia. Bangladesh last won the U-19 World Cup in 2020 under Akbar Ali’s captaincy.
