The Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) Board of Directors election will be held on October 4, following a meeting between BCB officials and the three-member Election Commission on September 13.

The draft voter list will be published on September 20, and candidates must submit nomination papers by September 25.

This year’s election will be held across three categories, with 25 directors in total, who will later elect the BCB president.

In addition to in-person voting, postal voting will also be allowed.

Star cricketer Tamim Iqbal has announced his candidacy, while current president Aminul Islam Bulbul will also contest. Former directors Akram Khan and Mahbub Anam, however, will not take part.
