The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) hosted a special value-sharing session titled ‘Share & Care’ at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, aiming to foster stronger bonds and open dialogue among players, management, and officials.

BCB President leads effort to build stronger team culture
The session, led by BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul, brought together members of the Bangladesh National Men’s Team, coaching staff, team management, BCB Directors, and senior officials. The meeting focused on strengthening internal connections, promoting direct communication, and reflecting on the shared values guiding both the Board and the team.

“Today’s session was an important step toward building a stronger, more unified environment for everyone involved in Bangladesh cricket,” said President Bulbul. “Hearing directly from our players and team management was incredibly valuable, and we are committed to acting on the insights shared.”
He added, “Clear communication and meaningful connection are key to bridging gaps, strengthening trust, and ensuring that we are all aligned in our goals. This session allowed us to listen to one another, understand different perspectives, and commit to working together with purpose.”
Players Highlight Consistency, Commitment, and Support
T20 Captain Litton Kumer Das emphasized the importance of continuity and focus:
“Everyone sees the hard work we put in on the field every day, but what many don’t always see is the process behind it. For us, it’s about being honest with our effort and trusting the journey. Staying committed and focused will translate into results in the coming days.”

ODI Captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz stressed the need for strong facilities and expertise:
“As players, we benefit the most when we have strong support throughout the year. Investing in local staff and leveraging existing knowledge creates an environment where players can truly grow and perform at their best.”
Coach Phil Simmons Stresses Unity and Direction
Head Coach Phil Simmons underlined the team’s potential and the importance of unity:
“The National Team is the flagship of Bangladesh cricket. Few teams work as hard as this one. But talent and effort must be backed by unity and direction. Aligning our goals, supporting each other, and building together is how long-term success is achieved.”
The session also served as a platform to discuss insights from a recent internal survey, gathering feedback to help shape future strategies for the Board and the national team.
