The incident was sparked after Ripon struck a six off the first delivery of the over bowled by Ntluli. In response, Ntluli walked up to Ripon and shoved him, triggering a heated exchange.
Ripon tried to push him away multiple times, but Ntluli persisted, eventually grabbing Ripon's helmet and pulling it, which led to a physical clash.
On-field umpires and players from both sides intervened to diffuse the situation, but the scuffle has raised serious concerns about player behavior.
Though the match is not classified as a first-class fixture, disciplinary action is still on the table.
Match referee Salim Shahed confirmed that an official report would be filed and that the incident will be reviewed before deciding on any potential sanctions. This being the final match of the series adds further weight to the outcome of the disciplinary review.
