The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has proposed adding an extra match to their ongoing two-match T20I series against the United Arab Emirates. This move comes as part of their preparations for the upcoming tour of Pakistan.

Originally, Bangladesh was scheduled to play two T20Is in Sharjah before heading to Pakistan.

However, with the Pakistan tour still awaiting confirmation amid the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions, the BCB has requested an additional T20I to buy some time for further decisions.
The extended series would also make it more convenient for the team to travel directly to Pakistan from the UAE if the tour goes ahead.

This proposal comes as the BCB plans to consult with players regarding their willingness to travel to Pakistan for the planned five-match T20I series.
