The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that it is closely monitoring the evolving security situation in Pakistan over the past 24 hours, with a strong emphasis on the safety and well-being of Bangladeshi players currently involved in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Two national team players, leg-spinner Rishad Hossain and fast bowler Nahid Rana, are currently participating in the PSL. The BCB has constantly communicated with both players to ensure their safety and peace of mind amidst the developing circumstances.

BCB President Faruque Ahmed is personally overseeing the matter and has spoken directly with PSL CEO Salman Naseer as well as Rishad Hossain to gain firsthand updates and provide necessary reassurance to the players.

The Board also stated that it is in active coordination with both the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad. This collaborative effort aims to implement all necessary security measures and protocols to protect the Bangladeshi players abroad.
