Bangladesh cricketer Soumya Sarkar had hurt his injured hand again during a practice session ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy but later he came back to practice.

Following the incident, the team physio and Bangladesh’s medical staff quickly rushed to him. Shortly after, he was seen leaving the field. After observation, he came to bat in the training nets.

During the second T20I of the West Indies tour, Soumya suffered an injury while attempting a catch. He misjudged the bounce of a rising delivery from Tanzim Hasan Sakib that took an edge off Rovman Powell’s bat.

As a result, he missed most of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) matches for Rangpur Riders.
