Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Wednesday there is no place for Mashrafee bin Mortaza in the list of cricketers who will take part in the fitness test due to his fitness.
BCB decided that players’ selection in the draft list for the upcoming T20 tournament in November-December will have to undergo a mandatory fitness test before being considered eligible for the competition.

The test, scheduled on November 9 and 10, has been planned to particularly assess the fitness levels of cricketers outside the National Team, High Performance Team and Under 19 set ups.
‘’I have spoken with Mashrafee and he cannot give the test so we haven’t kept him in the list,’’ BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin said.
113 cricketers will take part in the fitness test scheduled on November 9 and 10.
The mandatory test is being conducted to determine the fitness levels of players who are expected to be in the draft for the forthcoming T20 tournament.
‘’The cricketers are requested to report 30 minutes ahead of their respective test times to BCB Strength & Conditioning coaches at the Indoor Centre of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS), Mirpur. For individual safety and as a precaution against Covid-19, the players arriving at the SBNCS premises for fitness test are further advised to wear masks, maintain social distance and carry their own hand sanitisers,’’ BCB said in a statement on Wednesday.
