The Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Tuesday that forthcoming Under-19 Asia Cup, scheduled in UAE from November, had been postponed and now they are thinking to play series against Afghanistan in February.
BCB officials said that they have rescheduled Bangladesh Under-19 National Cricket Team’s tour to Pakistan due to the corona virus pandemic and insisted that they will play the series comprising five 50-over match and two four-day games in 2021 though the dates are yet to be finalised.

BCB game development, who had recently formed their new Under-19 squad, expected the Under-19 Asia Cup as the first platform to test the members of the newly formed squad.
However, they were informed by ACC that it had been postponed and will be shifted to another suitable date in 2021.
‘’The Under-19 Asia Cup [ that was expected to be played in November 2020] had been postponed and will be played in 2021,ACC is looking for a suitable date to host the tournament next year,’’ BCB game development manager AEM Kawsar told reporters on Tuesday.
Kawser said that they are looking to Afghanistan in February though the date is yet to be finalized.
