Bangladesh’s Twenty20 skipper Salma Khatun said that she is very excited to take part in the upcoming Women’s T20 Challenge.

The tournament is considered as women’s IPL organized by the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI).

Salma is participating for the first time in the competition as she was picked by Trailblazers for the tournament where two other teams Supernovas and Velocity will also compete.

The tournament will have three round-robin games, scheduled on November 4, 5 and 7 while the final will be played on November 9 in UAE.

Her national team mate Jahanara Alam will play for Velocity and according to the all-rounder, she was little bit overwhelmed when she was informed that she got a chance like this big event.

This 30-year women is going there as an all-rounder and she want to do something special so that the country can be highlighted while she added that she want to learn from others stars as well with whom she will share the dressing room.

“I am excited as we have got a chance in such a big event. I am happy that, last year only Jahanara got a chance from our country .But in this year , two persons got the chance and I am one of them,’’ Salma told daily sun.

‘’I cannot describe my happiness in words,’’ she said.

 “As I got the chance, I will try to give my level best. And since I am going as an all-rounder, I have to do well in all three departments,’’
