Tamim admits audiences will be missed

Bangladesh ODI’s skipper Tamim Iqbal said that he will miss the audience in the upcoming BCB President’s Cup that is scheduled to start at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium from today.
The BCB President's Cup -- a three-team 50-over tournament starting from tomorrow at the SBNS, will be a test case for the board ahead of launching domestic cricket in a broader way.

BCB had decided to open the Shaheed Jewel Stand for the competition for public while some 200 guest will be entertained by the board in the club house.
It will be a new experience for Tamim and other as they are accustomed of playing in front of big crowd.
‘’Definitely I will miss the audience. For the busy schedule in national team, this kind of match is rarely happen. If the audience is there they would have enjoyed the tournament,’’ Tamim was quoted in the trophy unveiling ceremony of the inaugural edition of BCB President Cup.
Tamim insisted that he is expecting competitive cricket in the tournament as it is unlikely to be the two two-day games that was played earlier by his national team mates.
‘’Obviously this is exciting because from tomorrow the tournament will start. We are lucky that we have played two practice matches and excitement was also there but this is different,’’ he said
‘’This is a tournament where a lot of thing will depend win and losses,’’ he said.
