Bangladesh former ODI skipper Mashrafee bin Mortaza will not be part of the three-team ODI competition that is expected to start from September 11.
BCB is making a plan to play a 50-over tournament comprising with three teams that is likely to be considered as Bangladesh national team, Bangladesh A team and High-Performance Unit.
BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin told reporters that Mashrafee will not be part of the competition.

‘’He is not fit yet so he will not be part of the competition,’’ said Minhajul regarding Mashrafee who insisted he is yet to give up playing cricket after quitting from the captaincy post.
Minhajul added that if there is a Corporate League there is a possibility to see Mashrafee again depending if he is picked in the auction.
‘’If there is Corporate League it will be open for all and we can see Mashrafee if he is picked in the auction,’’ he said.
Mashrafe stepped down from the leadership role during three-match ODI’s series against Zimbabwe at home.
Mashrafee’s decision comes in the wake of the Bangladesh Cricket Board announcing that the Zimbabwe series would be his last as leader, after which he will have to prove his form and fitness to be considered for selection.
