Bangladesh Cricket Board is eyeing to resume individual training at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in a more organized way from September 10, said BCB official on Saturday.
It means the three days’ break on all training activities at the SBNS which was imposed on Thursday, is likely to get extended for few more days.

The individual training session of cricketers in Mirpur was called off for three days after a member of the support staff started showing COVID-19 like symptoms. ‘Most likely we are going to extend the break for few more days. We have some meetings among ourselves. It’s also been a long time since the players started practicing and the series is also few more days away. So, they need a break also,’’
BCB chief physician Debashish Chowdhury told reporters on Saturday.
‘‘We want to make a fresh start. We will be more vigilant, we will increase monitoring and we will be stricter about maintaining health protocols,’ he said.
The players’ training in Mirpur will most likely resume after September 10, as the board is planning to test all players and support staff for the virus on that day,’’ he added.
