Bangladesh pacer Al-Amin Hossain said that he is excited with the prospect of once again training under the national team’s coaching staff from next week.

The national team coaching staff is expected to return on September 2 to Bangladesh after a long COVID-19 break.

‘’Next week, our coaches will return among us. So, we are hoping in the coming days our practice facilities will improve even further, where we will prepare ourselves for the Sri Lanka tour,’ Al-Amin told the media in a video message sent by BCB.

All members of the Tigers’ coaching staff, including head coach Russell Domingo, bowling coach Ottis Gibson have been away from Bangladesh soon after the COVID-19 outbreak reached the country in mid-March.

The coaches have kept in touch with the players during the past five months, through multiple online sessions, giving out pointers on how to keep fit and work on their skill while staying mostly indoors.

Bangladesh will play three Tests against Sri Lanka in October-November, which are part of the ICC World Test Championship.
