Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan confirmed that he will return to Bangladesh from the United States on Monday to begin the journey towards resuming his cricketing career.
Before making his comeback, Shakib will prepare himself at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan under his childhood mentors, Nazmul Abedin Fahim and Mohammad Salauddin.

‘’Shakib will arrive at the end of this month. From September 5 or 6, he will be staying at the BKSP and carry out his training,’’ said Nazmul.
Shakib, who is now serving a year-long ban for hiding conversations with a bookmaker, is free to resume international cricket from October 29.
Shakib left for USA to join his wife and daughter in late March during the early stage of coronavirus outbreak in Bangladesh.
During his stay at USA, he experienced fatherhood for the second time and was engaged in various welfare activities through his Shakib Al Hasan foundation.
Shakib will be available to play in the second Test of the three-match series in Sri Lanka taking place in October-November and if the hints of Bangladesh Cricket Board’s president Nazmul Hasan are to be believed Shakib could turn up for the Tigers immediately after his ban ends.
