Bangladesh Cricket Board official has said on Wednesday that they have started group training with match scenario environment ahead of the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
BCB opened the door for individual training from July 26 but decided to switch gears as per the recommendation of the team management and cricketers as they decided to conduct training in this manner after their zoom meeting on August 25.

Bangladesh's tour of Sri Lanka which was earlier scheduled for July-August, comprising three Tests, was postponed indefinitely because of the COVID-19 situation and the tourists are scheduled to travel to the island on September 28 after completing a one-week residential camp.
"It is mentioned in the health guideline that single training will be followed by group training. It will increase gradually from two to more cricketers. We have spoken with the cricketers in this regard and we have started it as per their consent. Our physio arrived and we had a zoom meeting on Tuesday that was attended by coaches and cricketers and cricket operations and we have taken the group practice decision after discussing the matter with everyone," said BCB chief physician Debashish Chowdhury said on Wednesday.
"We can practice with two to three cricketers and it depends on individual requirements. We will do group training and it implies a batsman will bat against proper bowling like say suppose Mushfiqur will bat against Taskin and at times a batsman can bat with two bowlers comprised with pacer and spinners. We are trying to conduct it on the basis of the match scenario," he said.
