Vettori to work with HP spinners in SL

Bangladesh Cricket Board officials said that national spin consultant Daniel Vettori will work with the spinners of the High-Performance Unit in the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
BCB’s High-Performance Unit will travel with the national team, who are expected to play a three-match Test series against the host.
HP will play a series against the host comprising two four-day matches along with five one-day matches but before that will be staying with the national team as they will help the seniors by playing some matches between themselves.
‘’During the camp he will be looking after our[ HP] spinners in the training session but when the national team begin their Test series it won’t be possible because at that point HP squad will be separated from the national team ,’’ BCB HP chairman Naimur Rahman told reporters.
‘’Probably there will be seven to eight spinners involved with national team and HP unit and the coaching staff can plan out how to work with them,’’ he said.
BCB is eyeing to use Vettori involving more spinners during his 100-day period with Bangladesh ahead of the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia later this year. As per the deal, Vettori receives USD 2500 per day.
