National team and HP to remain under the same arrangement in Sri Lanka

BCB Director Naimur Rahman said that the national and High Performance (HP) teams will remain under the same arrangement during their respective tours in Sri Lanka.
But he informed that the accommodation and the venue for the visiting Bangladesh teams are yet to finalise ahead of their respective games in the island nation.
“As they all will practice together, they will stay in the hotel in tandem. There will be a string of practice matches between the national team and HP team. We’re organizing all those things from here. Both teams will get the same facilities and stay at the same hotel,” said Naimur Rahman, who is also the chairman of the BCB- High Performance (HP) Committee.
“The accommodation and the venue are yet to settle. The primary discussion we held both national and HP teams will remain under the same arrangements because it’s not a matter for us. Sri Lanka also have a matter of protocols. The arrangement will be done in that way,” Durjoy told reporters.
HP chairman said the rest of the players of the HP squad will come back to the country when their series against Sri Lanka will begin.
“Bangladesh National Team will go to the support of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), when the series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will begin. Thereafter, HP will go to their respective reciprocal programme against the hosts,” he said.
“Both teams have a full-fledged squad. The HP will go to their tour with their full squad. There are 24-26 players in the HP squad. But when we play the series, there is no full squad. The rest of the squad will return to the country,” he concluded.
