Bangladesh ODI Skipper Tamim Iqbal is likely to return to the cricket field on August 16 after a lengthy four-five months corona-enforced break.
In addition, Tamim went to London, the capital city of the United Kingdom (UK) from where he returned home on August 1 after receiving a medical check-up for his severe intestinal pain.
Returning upon his arrival from London, the stroke-maker remained in home quarantine following the health rules and safety protocol of the government and World Health organisation (WHO) as well to stem the contagion of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

He will return to the field to join the ongoing individual training session, arranged by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) after the conclusion of his quarantine period.
The hard-hitting opener and important cog of Bangladesh said to a leading Bangla newspaper that he will join the individual training session for the first time on August 16.
“My home quarantine will end on August 15. Hopefully I can join the training from August 16,” said Tamim Iqbal.
Before the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the first phase of the individual training session of the national team cricketers had begun, the period that was extended for two days. Therefore, the training sessions have resumed on August 8 after the Eid vacation.
Tamim was not in the first phase of the training because of his intestinal pain that forced him to fly for London to take better treatment ahead of the international schedule.
Noteworthy, Tamim on July 25 went to London for the treatment because of his severe intestinal pain for which he had to perform a string of tests to recognize the real cause of problems for his intestinal pain.
As of now, Tamim has been waiting for those results as he said, “I hope I need not to go there. What I have to do will be informed from London.”
