No corona test in discrete situation-BCB doctor

Even though the number of players in the individual training session increases, the corona testing of the cricketers is not possible in such a situation, said Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief physician Dr Debashis Chowdhury.
Chowdhury also said testing is only possible in controlled situations or camp situations unless it will not be effective or control any longer.
He put forward some questions in this regard such as, “What will be its benefit? What is the concept of a corona test? You will test when the number of players increases that’s right. Will you then test the players daily?”
“Players are going home directly after holding their scheduled practice at different venues. How will you control it? What you can do then for them,” he added.
But he said what they can do is to correct the gap by maintaining the time management so that no face-to-face contract or physical contract will happen between the players.
“What can we do in such a situation? We have to correct the gaps and maintain the time management of them in this way. We have to ensure that there are no more contracts among them during the practice session. Along with that, we have to take measures to cleanse properly after leaving the spot by the players,” he said.
Citing the words of the Under-19 Cricket Team, BCB chief physician said they are taking measures to test corona for the Under-19 Cricket Team before the start of their camp.
“Testing is possible in a camp situation,” the physician said.
“What we are doing for the Under-19 cricket team,” he added.
