Tamim on June 25 had travelled to London for treatment after complaining of severe intestinal pain.

“I had a small discussion with Tamim after he returned. I am still to look into his report and know of the details. He has been put in self-quarantine imposed by the government,” BCB chief physician Debashish Chowdhury told reporters on Monday.

It was reported in the media that Tamim has undergone several tests under the Bangladeshi doctors before getting to London but they couldn’t find any problem. And so, the ODI skipper went to London to find the reason for his illness and find an easy solution for it.

Tamim is expected to miss some part of the second phase of individual practice sessions that is set to start on Saturday at different venues of Bangladesh.
