BCB extends individual practice sessions for two days

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has extended two more days for the solo-practice session for the cricketers after the conclusion of the initial six-day individual training module ended with a day break last Sunday.
This time wicketkeeper-batsman Anamul Haque Bijoy has newly joined the existing party of Mushfiqur-Mithun-Miraz in the extended days.
At the request of the national and other cricketers, BCB allowed players and provided five designated venues for their individual practice purpose at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi since July 19.
The BCB is considering giving their cricketers a chance to have practice on a larger scale after Eid-ul-Azha.
Bijoy, who joined practice on Monday, was overjoyed and thankful towards the BCB to be able to have the opportunity to practice in Mirpur though getting back to the on-field practice was quite tough for him on the first day.
“It feels very good to be able to practice in Mirpur today. Almost four months later we got the opportunity to practice in Mirpur and practiced. In fact, there has been a lot of trouble today,” Anamul Haque said.
“Because no matter where I have done it whether it's indoors or anywhere, the field practice or the practice in Mirpur is actually very special and it was hard after many days,” Bijoy said in a video message.
“I hope I will continue in this way as much as I can before and after Eid I will continuously do it. Many thanks to BCB for giving us such an opportunity. Hope it continues and thanks, thanks everyone,” Bijoy added.
