Shanto elated to return to the field

Bangladesh top-order batsman Nazmul Hossain Shanto said that he is overjoyed to be back at practice after a protracted corona break.
Getting back to practice from home quarantine for a four-long-month hiatus due to the fears of the coronavirus, the promising cricketer Shanto is heating up at the Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi provided by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
BCB provided a total of five designated venues for the cricketers who enlisted their names being showed their keen interest to have individual practice sessions following health protocols and hygiene rules till 26 July.

It has been learned that the bulk of the cricketers are also willing to join the second phase training session which will begin after Eid-ul-Azha.
In a video message, the 22-year-old left-handed batsman was seen to do his running, squat and cardio at the Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi, which added for the last moment to the other four designated venues.
“Of course, I feel much better to come out of the home and have outdoor practice after a long lull,” Nazmul Hossain said.
“It never happened before because like other cricketers I stayed at home quarantine for those three-four months. It never happened before. So it was a new experience for me like all,” Shanto said in a video message.
“But after so many days getting back to the field and doing practice, I felt very much happier and enjoyed it a lot,” he added.
