Sadman, Mrittunjoy to start batting, bowling after Eid

Left-handed opener Sadman Islam Anik coupled with U-19 pace bowling all-rounder Mrittunjoy Chowdhury have overcome their injury niggles after their respective major surgical operations.
Sadman had a wrist injury, while Mrittunjoy had shoulder niggles. Both players have undergone surgery in Melbourne.
After undergoing a successful surgery in Melbourne, Australia they returned to Dhaka on March 17 after which they went into rehabilitation.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) physio Bayjedul Islam and Muzadded Sunny confirmed that they are in good condition right now and will start their batting and bowling practice after Eid.
“Sadman’s condition is now much better than before. His rehab has started will come to Mirpur tomorrow [Thursday]. Therefore, we will see him again. I hope he can start batting after Eid,” Bayjedul Islam told Cricfrenzy.com.
However, potential left-arm pace bowling all-rounder Mrittunjoy had to go through two sessions before Eid to be cleared out. But physio Muzadded Sunny is hoping that the 20-year-old bowler will be able to start bowling after Eid.
“He had an operation. He was brought to BCB today to see what happened. He might be watched for two sessions before Eid and then will be left. He did the work he was given. There has been a good improvement. His rehab is going on, the steps he had are almost over. Now I brought him to see. He’s better now,” Muzadded Sunny told Cricfrenzy.com
“It takes about six months to start bowling. He has been four months. Hoping that he will start bowling after Eid. But he has to start slowly. We will go the way we go. We’ll not give him a full load. These stages will start after Eid,” he added.
