Promising left-arm leg-spinner Nasum Ahmed is feeling ecstatic while finding out the difference between running on the ground and running on the road.
It was initially learnt from the BCB source that three pacers from Sylhet-Syed Khaled Ahmed, Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi and Ebadat Hossain Chowdhury will start their training at the Sylhet Divisional Stadium (SDS) in Sylhet.
Later it was learnt that only pacer Khaled Ahmed and left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed have joined to have their individual training under the supervision of the Divisional coach.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) provided four venues for the players to do their individual training from Sunday. They will follow the certain rules, provided by the BCB. Players are also following them accordingly and starting their practice correspondingly.
Like the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim, Nasum also started to do his running in front of his house which is close to the gate No 4 of the SDS. To hold his fitness he used to run on the road amid the COVID-19 fear.
However, BCB has opened four stadiums across the country and the practice freak players like Mushfiqur, few other players have also returned to the field, Nasum was one of them.
“I’ve been running on the road in front of my house for a few days now. My house is right next to the stadium. My house is outside the indoor at gate number four. Today I went inside the stadium and did running and gym. I’m feeling good,” said Nasum Ahmed, who shot to limelight after performing well in the Bangabandhu-Bangladesh Premier League (B-BPL) and earned maiden call-ups from the national team but unfortunately didn’t get a chance in the playing XI.
“My practice schedule was from 11am to 12am. And Khaled did it from 10am to 11am,” Nasum told a Bengali web portal.
“There were ample opportunities to do running and gym. We did running and gym on the first day,” he added.
